CAMDEN – A color guard consisting of all branches of the military stood in silence at the Wall on Camden's Village Green. Assembling at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Camden Post Office, the veterans marched to the war memorial and stood in silence for 30 minutes.

Jeff Sukeforth of Camden's American Legion Post 30 said every year the post visits to the Village Green to honor veterans. Not only those listed on the wall, but all veterans.

At 2 p.m. at Post 30 at 91 Pearl St. in Camden, a program of music was put together by Rosey Gerry and members of the post.

Master of Ceremonies Gerry took the audience through a program of patriotic, mil;itary music through the years beginning with the Revolutionary War up through Afganistan and ending with the audience joining in with the singing of the Battle Hymm of the Republic.

Poignant at times, you could not help but swell with pride as the musicians through their song gave thanks and exemplified each chapter of American History.

    Enjoy some of those songs.
