ROCKPORT — In an afternoon email on Thursday, April 18, Camden Hills athletic director Steve Alex announced the four varsity and junior varsity baseball and softball contests scheduled for Friday, April 19 are going to be held in Rockport. 

Poor field conditions at Edward Little High School forced the location of the varsity contests to be moved to Rockport. The junior varsity games were already slated to be held in Rockport. 

The varsity contests will begin at 11 a.m. and the junior varsity games will start at 1 p.m. 

The Camden Hills varsity baseball team will enter the Friday contest with a 1-0 record after topping Mount Blue 5-1 on Wednesday, April 17. 

The Camden Hills varsity softball team, meanwhile, will be seeking its first win of the season after falling 20-2 on Wednesday against Mount Blue.
