CAMDEN — Firefighters in Camden, as well as the Camden Harbor Master, responded just before midnight Sunday, June 23, to a call for help from a moored power boat.

The man, 75, who was aboard the vessel with another person and a dog, had been reporting heart palpitations and called for an assist.

A North East Mobile Health Services ambulance crew waited at Steamboat Landing while Harbor Master Steve Pixley motored out to the mooring and helped the man back to shore.

Camden firefighters waited with the ambulance crew.

When he arrived at Steamboat Landing, he was able to walk from the boat to the ambulance, by which he was transported to Pen Bay Medical Center.

That was apparently the second of two calls; the man had also called for help with the same medical concern at 4:30 a.m., Sunday morning, June 23.
