ROCKLAND — On Sunday, Aug. 5, history was made at the Rockland Golf Club as Bob Sommers made his fifth career hole in one. 

The shot came on the course’s fifth hole at 136 yards with Sommers using an 8-iron. 

The spectacular shot was witnessed by Jerry St. Clair and Steve Staples.
