Belfast Police beat: speeding, theft, assault

    BELFAST — Belfast Police reported the following activity Jan. 27 - Feb. 4. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Jan. 27

    Deanna M. Lenfest, 39, of Belfast, was issued a summons for assault on Field Street.

    Jan. 30

    Kelly M. Carey, 40, of Brooks, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Route 1.

    Feb. 1

    Joshua Cumler-Bowie, 45, of Hallowell, was issued summonses for speeding 60 mph in a 40 mph zone and failure to register a motor vehicle (30-150 days past expiration) on Belmont Ave.

    Katie L. Coombs, 30, of Northport, was issued a summons for speeding 30 mph in a 15 mph school zone on Lincolnville Ave.

    Eric Kiernan, 42, of Belfast, was issued a summons for theft by deception on Starrett Drive.

    Feb. 2

    Joshua F. Neal, 34, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Waldo Ave.

    Scott M. Thomas, 34, of Belfast, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance on Searsport Avenue.

    Lewis H. Baker, 71, of Belfast, was issued summonses for failure to register a vehicle (30-150 days past expiration) and failure to provide proof of insurance on High Street.

    Robert J. Cumler, 22, of Hallowell, was issued a summons for speeding 64 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

    Derek Dejoy, 55, of Belfast, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Main Street.
