Belfast Police beat: Receiving stolen property, criminal speed

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity May 21-28. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

    May 21

    Christopher H. Sudsbury, 46, of Stockton Springs, was arrested for failure to appear. 

    May 23

    Albert Russell, 34, of Belfast, was arrested for receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of property on Swan Lake Avenue. 

    May 25

    William W. Pineen, 51, of Fairfield, was issued summonses for an inspection sticker violation and operating after suspension on Starrett Drive. 

    Philip D. Goguen, 33, of Belfast, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Field Street. 

    Zachary M.H. Leo, 22, of Monroe, was issued a summons for exceeding the speed limit by 30 plus mph on Marsh Road. 

    May 26

    Mason A. Murray, 24, of Belfast, was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order and violating conditions of release on Waterville Road.
