Belfast Police beat: burglary, speeding, terrorizing

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity April 9-16. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    April 9

    Aaron T. Taylor, 51, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.

    April 12

    Joel W. Miller, 33, of Palermo, was issued summonses for an inspection sticker violation and failure to register a vehicle (30-150 days) on Main Street.  

    Joseph a. Littlefield, 21, of Morrill, was arrested for criminal mischief, burglary, and operating after suspension on Allyn Street.

    April 13

    Raymond A. Stover, 32, of Belfast, was arrested for operating without a license, violating conditions of release and terrorizing on Back Belmont Road. Stover was also issued summonses for attaching false plates, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to provide proof of insurance and an inspection sticker violation.

    Nicholas J. Labate, 29, of Greenbush, was issued a summons for speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 1.

    Bevelyn Z. Beatty, 27, of Glenburn, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation and failure to register a motor vehicle (30-150 days) on Waldo Avenue.

    Brandi P. Nickerson, 34, of Prospect, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance on Mill Lane.

    April 14

    Alexander J. Hayes, 25, of Monroe, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation and failure to provide proof of insurance on High Street.

    Laura J. Curtis, 66, of Union, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Belmont Avenue.

    Forrest W. Warren, 75, of Belfast, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation and failure to provide proof of insurance on High Street.

    Raymond Russ, 70, of Orono, was issued a summons for operating the wrong way on a one-way road on High Street.
