2018 Maine Wild Blueberry Queen applications available

UNION — Applications are being accepted for the 2018 Maine Wild Blueberry Queen Competition. The coronation will take place at the Union Fair / Maine Wild Blueberry Festival on Monday, August 20.
The girl chosen to be Queen will receive a $1,750 cash award and represent the Maine Wild Blueberry industry at events in Maine and New England throughout her one-year reign.
An applicant must be 17 to 22 years of age, single, a high school graduate or the equivalent, a Maine resident, and available for public appearances during the upcoming year.
Applications must be received no later than Friday, August 3. For application form and more information please go to www.unionfair.org.
The Union Fair / Maine Wild Blueberry Festival, located at the Union Fairgrounds, just off RTE. 17 in Union will take place Saturday, August 18 through Saturday, August 25.
