Many teas are over packaged including being wrapped in plastic or individually wrapped.  Some tea bags even contain plastic and the “k-cup” or “teapods” are wasteful.  Most of the packaging can not be recycled.  Making your own herbal tea is fast, easy, delicious and an easy step on your zero waste journey.  Everything in my tea I bought in bulk or harvested and dried from my garden.  Blend together a bunch of lovely herbs and flower petals- not necessary to measure, each cup is delightfully unique.  Our Winter Tea Recipe is a a delightful cup of summer.
