Panel members have been announced for the open forum on "Careers in Computing and IT" to be held at UMA Rockland (URock) on Wednesday, October 24th at 4:00pm.

Kelly Rickert, Director of Workforce Development for maine.gov plus Carrie Murphy, Manager of Recruiting for Athena Health, will represent employers on the panel discussing skills and preparation for landing lucrative IT jobs. Olivia Seibel, Local Area Network Administrator for Camden National Bank and a UMA Computer Information Systems (CIS) graduate and Pablo Espinosa, also a UMA CIS student, will talk about the value of their academic work for job placement. Henry Felch, UMA full-time faculty member in CIS and Cybersecurity will talk about UMA courses, certificates and full degrees to help students land these jobs. The panel will be moderated by Jason Judd, Program Director for Project Login which connects Mainers with careers for the future in computing and IT.

Anyone interested in the growing field of computing and IT is welcome to attend. Registration is not required.
