Spring Semester Getting Underway January 22 at UMA Rockland

The University of Maine at Augusta's Rockland Center is building a strong enrollment for its spring semester.  Combining numbers from continuing degree students, new admits and high school aspirations students, the UMA Rockland Center expects to see an increase in its enrollment when the term opens January 22.

"Despite almost full employment in Knox County, many people are finding a path to start or complete a University degree. We have many ways for students to take courses conveniently so they fit into busy life schedules," said UMA's Director Deborah Meehan.

Scholarships are still available for first-time college students and for those who may be returning after taking a break.  Free academic advising is also available from University professionals who can work with students wherever they are in their educational journey.
