In this workshop, students will learn to create symmetrical designs using drawing tools you'll remember, probably using them in a new way. All materials are supplied, but feel free to bring your favorite coloring implements. No artistic experience necessary - just bring who you are.

Sue Aripotch is a Maine-based artist who's been drawing mandalas for 27 years, ever since she invented them at her kitchen table (it takes great effort to reinvent wheels!). Teaching others to draw them and find the beauty in these reflections of  themselves is one of the great joys in her life. As Georgia OKeefe said, "I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way- things I had no words for."
