Will you be out of town on November 6?  Want to avoid lines on Election Day? Already decided how you’re going to vote?  Whatever your reason may be for early voting (absentee voting), you have the opportunity to request a ballot between now and Thursday, November 1.  There are four ways to request a ballot:

1.      In person at your town office

2.      By phone

a.       Rockport residents call 236-9648

b.      Camden residents call 236-3353

c.       Islesboro residents call 734-2253

3.      Electronically at the Secretary of State website

4.      In writing

Ballots requested outside of the town office require an absentee ballot application that can be found at the Secretary of State website.

Ballots can be filled out in the lobby of your town office at the time they are requested, or one can request to take the ballot with them. Ballots must be returned to your town office no later than 8pm on November 6 to be counted.

There are many important issues on the ballot this November. Please take the time to research the candidates and issues. I hope that I have earned your support during my first term as your representative and that you will vote to send me back to Augusta to continue working for you.
