WATERVILLE – The McNally Senior All-Star Field Hockey game was held Saturday at Thomas College.

The teams are picked by the Maine Field Hockey coaches across the state.

The midcoast was well represented and Jackie Thorbjornson and Amanda Hoppe of Oceanside and Meg Dowd of Camden Hills.

The score was tied 0-0 at the half. The West team scored mid-way through the second half on a goal from Freeport’s Abigail Smith. With about 10 minutes to go, East's Jackie Thorbjornson got hold of the ball in the circle and pushed a short pass across to Meg Dowd in front of the goal who popped it in to tie the game 1-1.

The Oceanside-Camden combo that scored for the East was the lone score of the game for the team who lost to the West 2-1.

The girls from the West came back and scored another goal from Falmouth’s Elle Fitzgerald about five minutes later for what would be a 2-1 win for the West.
