Weather washes out boys soccer regional quarterfinals

Mother Nature interfered with the four boys soccer regional quarterfinal games involving local teams that were set to be played around the state today, Wednesday, Oct. 25. 

In Class A North, sixth-seeded Camden Hills was set to travel to third-seeded Edward Little. Instead, the contest will be played Thursday, Oct. 26 at Bates College with a 2:30 p.m. start. The game will be played at the main campus on the Garcelon Turf Field. 

In Class B North, third-seeded Mount View was set to host sixth-seeded Hermon in a game now scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m. 

In Class D South, 11th-seeded Searsport was to travel to Thomas College to challenge third-seeded Temple Academy. The two teams will now meet Friday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. 

Also in Class D South, the game between second-seeded Buckfield and seventh-seeded Islesboro, set to be played in Buckfield, was postponed to Thursday, Oct. 26 at 3:30 p.m.
