Watershed Senior Scarlet Labbe-Watson presents final project: Art and Activism

ROCKLAND — On May 15, 2024 Watershed Senior Scarlet Labbe-Watson will be presenting her senior project to the public. This event will dive into the inspiration for Scarlet’s four panel painting made out of her old nightgowns and scrap wood. She will also share about helping to write a petition that encourages the state of Maine to divest from fossil fuels and how it is connected to her work.

This talk will cover the power of activism in art and the wonderful legacy of Watershed’s senior project program.

This presentation will take place Wednesday, May 15, from 5 - 6:30 p.m., at the Steel House, 369 Main Street, Rockland, and part of that time will be allotted to socializing and looking at the art exhibition.
