WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 116 calls for service from Aug. 30-Sept. 6. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

Aug. 30       

Jake Wood, 41, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Spear for speeding in a school zone.                       

Amber Chaisty, 25, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Thomas Bartunek for burglary, assault, criminal mischief, and obstructing the report of a crime. 

Sept. 1          

Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a report from a citizen that someone took some glasses and china, valued at approximately $200, from his front deck.                       

Donald Boyington, 44, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Chief William Labombarde for domestic violence assault.                       

Perry Nickles, 33, of Union, was issued a summons by Spear for operating after suspension and failure to notify the Secretary of State of address change.                       

Sgt. Jamie Wilson is investigating a report from a citizen of the theft of a scooter valued at $500.  

Sept. 2                                   

Wilson investigated a report from a citizen that he is being harassed. Two subjects were located and warned on harassment.
