Waldoboro Police beat: Stolen — marijuana, refrigerator, all four tires from a car

     WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 161 calls for service from Jan. 31-Feb. 7. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. 

    Jan. 31 

    Jesse Cogar, 21, of New Harbor, was arrested by Officer Chris Spear for operating under the influence and violation of conditional release. 

    Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated a report from a citizen of an unwanted subject. Subject was found and warned on trespass. 

    Leona Cocco, 43, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Spear for unregistered motor vehicle. 

    Feb. 1 

    Brittany Barton, 31, of Damariscotta, was issued a summons by Spear for operating after suspension. 

    Feb. 2 

    Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a report from a citizen of the theft of marijuana and processor.                                     

    Hesseltine is investigating a report from a citizen of the theft of a refrigerator.

    Feb. 3 

    Hance Gonzalez, 23, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Hesseltine for domestic violence assault. 

    Feb. 4 

    Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from a citizen of the theft of money from her residence. 

    Feb. 5 

    Fuller is investigating a report from Tucker Chevrolet of the theft of four tires from a motor vehicle. The vehicle was left sitting on its axel. 

    Fuller is investigating a report from a citizen that she is receiving harassing text messages. 

    Feb. 6 

    Fuller investigated a report from a citizen that she is receiving harassing text messages. Subjects were warned on threatening and harassment.
