Waldoboro Police beat: Damaged school window from burglary, stolen concession stand funds

    WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 147 calls for service from May 22-30. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. 

    May 22                                            

    Charles Stone, 46, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Hesseltine on a warrant.

    Joshua Ellis, 33, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Hesseltine on two counts of violation of conditional release and operating after habitual offender revocation.

    Roy Elliott, 33, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for operating a vehicle with an expired license.

    Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating a report from a citizen of stolen money.

    Leona Cocco, 44, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Bartunek for domestic violence criminal threatening and criminal mischief.

    May 23

    Stanley Brewer, 37, of Nobleboro, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for uninspected motor vehicle.

    May 24       

    Hesseltine investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 2:15 p.m. Marisa Small, 43, of Rockland, was driving a 2006 Honda van. Jesse Peaslee, 37, of Richmond, was driving a 2009 Mercury utility vehicle. Small was traveling eastbound, following the roadway and operated in an erratic, reckless, carless, negligent or aggressive manor. Peaslee was traveling eastbound and was stopped in traffic when Small struck the other vehicle in the rear. No injuries were reported.

    Officer Chris Spear investigated an accident on the Manktown Road, at 2:00 p.m. Dylan O’Reilly, 16, of Union, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck. O’Reilly was traveling northbound following the roadway and ran off the roadway. No injuries were reported.  

    Dylan O’Reilly, 16, of Union, was issued a summons for failure to make an oral or written accident report and failure to notify of a motor vehicle accident.

    May 26       

    Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report that someone broke into a Little League concession stand, causing damage and stealing approximately $200 worth of food and drinks. 

    Sgt. Jamie Wilson is investigating a report from a citizen that someone broke into the A.D. Gray Middle School, causing approximately $1000 in damage sto a window. 

    May 28

    A 16-year-old female, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Bartunek for illegal possession of liquor by a minor (consumption).

    May 29       

    Bartunek is investigating a report from a citizen that a motor cycle rode through her garden located by the sidewalk.

    May 30       

    Staci Murray, 36, of Damariscotta, was arrested by Bartunek for operating under the influence.
