    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity July 28 - Aug. 8. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    July 28

    Meagan LaPointe, 28, of Frankfort, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Marsh Stream Road in Frankfort.

    Seth Erickson, 25, of Monroe, was issued a summons for speeding 56 mph in a 35 mph zone on Monroe Road in Winterport.

    July 29

    Heather N. Leblanc, 32, of Belmont, was issued a summons for speeding 69 mph in a 45 mph zone on Poors Mill Road in Belfast.

    Aug. 2

    Anthony J. Dipasquale, 46, of Stockton Springs, was issued a summons for operating after revocation on Main Street in Searsmont.

    Aug. 4

    Sarah L. Perkins, 54, of Bangor, was issued a summons for passing another vehicle over a double center line on Main Road in Frankfort.

    Aug. 6

    Matthew J. Cowette, 32, of Unity, was arrested for burglary and theft on School Street in Unity. Cowette was also charged with theft on School Street for an incident July 20.  

    Nicholas J. Paquette, 26, of Bangor, was arrested for criminal trespass on Lebanon Road in Winterport.

    Deputy Cassandra McDonald responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident on Belfast Road in Lincolnville, where the operator of a motorcycle lost control. The operator reportedly said he took a corner too wide and deemed his best option to be going onto the shoulder of the road. It was the loose dirt on the side of the road that caused the motorcycle to tip on its side. The operator, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, sustained possible injury to the legs. The 1994 Harley Davidson was towed from the scene.

    Aug. 8

    Ryan C. Grindle, 21, of Prospect, was issued summonses for violating conditions of release, and failure to register a motor vehicle on Swanville Road in Frankfort.
