    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Sept. 4-14. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

    Sept. 4

    Dylan C. Kish, 24, of Unity, was issued a summons for criminal mischief on East Thorndike Road in Thorndike.

    Sept. 5

    Brandon J. Colby, 38, of Belfast, was issued a summons for speeding 64 mph in a 50 mph zone on Route 1 in Waldo.

    Sept. 9

    Caleb S. Larrabee, 19, of Brooks, was issued summonses for failure to provide proof of insurance and speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone on Hall Hill Road in Brooks. 

    Sept. 11

    Deputy Darrin Moody responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident at the intersection of North Searsport Road and Curtis Road. The operator of a 2002 Jeep was reportedly traveling too quickly for the rainy weather and failed to navigate a turn. The vehicle struck a guard rail and was towed from the scene due to disabling damage to the front end. There were no injuries. 

    Sept. 13

    Jamie M. Freeman, 30, of Brooks, was issued summonses for an inspection sticker violation and failure to provide proof of insurance on Valley Road in Brooks. 

    Karla M. Dennison, 28, of Brooks, was arrested for failure to appear.
