    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity June 23-30. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    May 29 (late entry)

    Deputy Jordan Tozier responded to the scene of a two vehicle accident on Baileyville Road in Knox, where the operator of one vehicle crossed the center line, striking an oncoming car. The driver of the first vehicle reportedly told Deputy Tozier he was distracted at the time of the accident. The driver of the second vehicle said they tried to avoid the collision by moving as far over as possible, but the vehicle was still struck on the driver's side door. The driver of the first vehicle suffered incapacitating injuries to the face, the two occupants of the second vehicle were uninjured. Both vehicles were towed.

    June 23

    Natalie F. Calligan, 20, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for speeding 63 mph in a 45 mph zone on Oak Hill Road in Belfast.

    Clinton D. Morton, 45, of Knox, was issued summonses for driving to endanger, operator not wearing seatbelt and operating with two inadequate tires on Bailey Road in Knox, stemming from an incident May 29.

    June 24

    Alexander M. Canning, 18, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for speeding 68 mph in a 45 mph zone on the Back Belmont Road in Belmont.

    June 25

    Patrick Bickford, 27, of Jackson, was arrested for theft and violating conditions of release stemming from an incident May 24.

    Matthew C. Flagg, 22, of Palermo, was issued a summons for failure to yield at a stop sign on Route 131 in Morrill.

    June 27

    Amarais C. Ramsey, 20, of Liberty, was issued a summons for criminal mischief on Brown Road in Liberty.

    June 28

    Kimberly Vieira, 41, of Rockport, was issued summonses for operating after suspension, operating under the influence and violating conditions of release on Main Street in Lincolnville.

    Tayler Corbin-Richards, 21, of Augusta, was issued summonses for driving to endanger, failure to report a crash by quickest means and an inspection sticker violation on Arnold Lane in Palermo.
