CAMDEN — In an email just before 7 p.m. Friday, the owners of missing chow Remy said he was found and returned home.

“He followed someone who was walking a dog at Tannery Park, and she locked him inside while she was at work. They saw the flyer and brought him her [home],” said Leecia Price. “Thank you very much!”

We all love a happy ending.

CAMDEN - A Camden couple on outer Washington Street came home Friday afternoon and discovered their older male chow, Remy, a very friendly dog, had gotten out of his fenced yard.

Remy is not wearing his harness with tags, but he is a strikingly handsome old guy, with an arthritic limp and bad eyesight. He lives at 164 Washington St. He has probably been looking for a place to cool off, and he’s unlikely to be able to find his way home.

He went to the vet yesterday so might still be groggy from some pain medication.

if you see him, please call 352-275-6412 and 352-275-8144

You can also call Camden Police, and PAWS has been notified in case he shows up there.

Thanks for any information that can be provided.
