Tia Anderson, Midcoast Habitat for Humanity on Friday’s Chris Wolf Show

Thu, 02/23/2017 - 8:30pm

It's time to build a house, or two, or three on the Chris Wolf Show. Tia Anderson, director of Midcoast Habitat for Humanity, will present an update on the busy agenda the nonprofit has for building houses in Knox County.

Their mission statement is simple: To work in cooperation with the vision and principles of Habitat for Humanity International, bringing people together to build hope, homes and community and end poverty housing in Knox County, Maine.

Midcoast Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.

The Chris Wolf Show will be broadcast live at 8 a.m., Feb. 24, on WRFR Community Radio at 93.3 FM, MaineCoast TV on Time Warner Channel 7, BCTV Channel 2 in Belfast, and also on the web at mainecoast.tv/streaming.

The show will also be broadcast on Channel 7 after the live broadcast, as well as being available on mainecoast.tv.

The Chris Wolf Show is broadcast Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with news from penbaypilot.com, and is a joint venture between Penobscot Bay Pilot, WRFR and MaineCoast TV Channel 7.
