Threats of violence to family lead to arrest

    SEARSMONT — A Searsmont man was arrested following a reported domestic disturbance Nov. 25. 

    Troy Trout, 40, was arrested after Waldo County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant James Greeley and Deputy Greg Jones responded to the call, according to a media report. 

    After interviewing multiple individuals present at the scene law enforcement learned that Trout had made threats of violence against his family following a verbal altercation at the residence. 

    Trout was arrested and charged with domestic violence terrorizing.
