CAMDEN — Theresa M. Randall, 70, died peacefully Feb. 1, 2014, surrounded by her loving family at her home, following an extended illness.

Born in Union June 20, 1943, she was the one of 10 children born to Edwin and Lucille Roy Pease. She was educated in Union schools.

On Feb. 9, 1973, Theresa married Earl Randall Jr. at Church of the Nazarene in Union. Together they made their home in Rockport on the “Randall Farm” on Old County Road. For many years Theresa helped on the farm, stacking more than 20 cords of wood each year, tending to and canning the fruits of large vegetable gardens and of course caring for her many grandchildren. She spent countless hours watching them as they swam in the pool.

Later, Theresa and Earl moved to Camden, where she was employed with Tibbett's Industries for more than 21 years. She took great pride in tending the many beautiful flower gardens that surrounded her Washington Street home.

Theresa enjoyed crafting, making beautiful works in ceramics, knitting, crocheting, doll making and particularly making gifts for her family. She was a great cook and loved baking. Family gatherings and holiday meals were particularly special. Her daughter remembered making homemade chocolates together at the farm.

Theresa will be remembered for her loving nature and big heart. She never judged anyone, and loved everyone she met, often offering her home as a place of refuge for others.

Theresa was a lifelong member of Church of Nazarene in Union. She was a dedicated Christian and loved serving her Lord.

Predeceased by her husband in 2007; a daughter, Cynthia Ripley in 2010; and an infant daughter, Baby Ripley in 1961; Theresa is survived by her children, Earl Randall III of Camden, Richard Ripley Jr. and his wife, Lori, of Waldoboro, Valerie Wood and her husband, Michael, of Nokomis, Fla., and Elizabeth Roscoe and her husband, David, of Rockland; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas and Betty Pease of Union, Eugene and Faye Pease, and David and Debbie Pease, all of North Union, Daniel and Jill Pease of Washington, and Edwin and Norma Pease of North Union; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Maxine and Rick Grierson of South Hope, Priscilla and Jack Pierce of Lincolnville, Diane and Patrick McBrien of Greggs, New York, Adele and Dennis Ripley of Washington; 14 grandchildren, Kristy, Terri Jean, Wayne, David, Sheena, Brett, Jeremy, Monica, Amanda, Rachel, Kristen, Zachary, Devin and Michaela; 14 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Haileigh, Taylor, Carter, Chandler, Dylan, Eva, Madison, Daniel, Lily May, Abel, Jordan and Sophie; and one great great-grandson, Tyeson; as well as her best friend, Donna MacDonald of Union.
