Six local baseball players selected to state all-star games

The Maine high school baseball all-star games are coming up and six local players have been selected to participate in four all-star games. 

For the Maine vs. New Hampshire senior baseball contest, Oceanside’s Titus Kaewthong has been selected as the area’s lone senior to participate in the contest. The contest will be held Monday, June 18 at Holman Stadium in Nashua, New Hampshire at noon. 

Meanwhile, Logan Sheridan will join Kaewthong for the Class A/B senior all-star contest to be held Thursday, June 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Waterville’s Colby College. 

Also joining the action for the Class A/B senior all-star game will be Medomak Valley’s Brent Stewart. 

In the Class C/D senior all-star game, Searsport’s Ben Powell and Liam McMillian will represent the Midcoast in the Thursday, June 21 contest, also being held at Colby College. The first pitch will be tossed at 3:30 p.m.

An underclassmen all-star game, featuring players from the 2019 and 2020 graduating classes, will be held Wednesday, June 20 at noon. From the Midcoast, Searsport’s Charlie Spiegal (2019) will represent the area.
