RESULTS
Football
Winslow 68, Oceanside 0… At Rockland, Winslow is a dominant football team that once they got going, there was no stopping them. On the other side of the ball, Oceanside could just not muster any offense.

Tough night for the Mariners who will look forward to homecoming next week when they host Hermon.

Girls Soccer

Jana Spieker was in goal for the Windjammers where she had one save on one shot on goal for the shutout. Camden Hills outshot Lewiston 19-1. Neither team had any corners.

Boys Soccer
Lewiston 3, Camden Hills 1… At Lewiston, Noralddin Othman scored two second half goals to pace Lewiston after Abdi Sharriff-Hassan opened the scoring five minutes into the first half.

Kienan Brown scored a beautiful goal from 25 yards in the second half to bring the Jammers to 3-1.

Lucas Boetsch played an incredible game in goal for Camden Hills recording 18 saves.  Austin Wing recorded two saves for Lewiston.

Lewiston outshot Camden Hills 26-8 and held an edge in corner kicks 4-1.

"I'm really proud of the effort the boys put in tonight,” said Camden Hills coach Ryan Hurley. “It was outstanding. If we get after each game from here on out in the same manner, we did tonight I like our chances. We played some tenacious defense and had a few good looks at goal. The first half we lost one of our Captains as there was a player on the other team playing with no mouth guard and his teeth took a chunk out of Josh Pitcairn's head (which necessitated a visit to the Emergency Room). That was really unfortunate, but the rest of the boys rallied, and the substitutes played great. Lewiston's first goal was a great goal where they capitalized on some early game jitters on our part. Their second goal really should have been a foul and a free kick for us as Lucas came out and made a sliding save and one of the Lewiston forwards kicked him in the face as he was on the ground, the ball popped over to another player who tucked it in. Kienan Brown scored a really nice goal, and we had a few more good opportunities off set pieces at the end. It was a really fun game with a playoff-type atmosphere....hopefully we'll get the opportunity to play them again."
