The North end of Mill Street, where it connects with Route 90 at Tolman Pond, will be closed beginning on or about Monday, July 18, for the removal and replacement of the “bridge” that spans the outlet from Tolman Pond.

The road will likely be closed to all traffic at that site for a month while the work is completed. The “bridge’ is actually a large culvert that needs to be replaced and is the cause of the road closure. Once construction starts, the road will be closed to all traffic until the work is completed. To be clear, this is not open to through traffic, this is closed to all traffic at the construction site. The road will be gone and impassable.

Mill Street is a fairly busy road and connects to Bog Road and Gurney Street to Route 90. People using this route during the next 4-6 weeks are advised to seek an alternate route.
