Rockport Police beat: Indecent conduct, speeding, operating after suspension

    ROCKPORT – Rockport police reported the following activity Sept. 22-28. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Sept. 22

    Seth W. Mitchell, 29, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for seat belt violation.

    Jessica E. Corbett, 29, of Augusta, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.

    Sept. 23

    John Soltario, 72, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Officer Cooper Plaisted for indecent conduct.

    Sept. 24

    Kurt Kish, 58, of Portland, was issued a summons by Plaisted for operating after suspension; insurance violation.

    Sept. 25

    Elijah Burnham, 26, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Robbie Shaw for operating an unregistered motor vehicle more than 150 days; insurance violation.

    Andrew Darling, 63, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Jim Moore for failure to stop at a stop sign; insurance violation.

    Stephen Tibbs, 63, of Rancho de Taso, N.M., was issued a summons by Officer Craig Cooley for speeding 40 mph in a 15 mph zone.

    James Fitzgerald, 44, of Ellsworth, was issued a summons by Cooley for towing an unregistered vehicle.

    Sept. 26

    Deepamkar Malik, 32, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Moore for speeding 55 mph in a 35 mph zone.

    Sept. 27

    Samuel A. Beverage, 31, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.

    Caroline Pritchard, 39, of London, UK, was issued a summons by Smith for speeding 70 mph in a 45 mph zone.

    Sept. 28

    Tia M. Gregory, 25, of Owls Head, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension; insurance violation.

    Joshua Dimmitt, 22, of Montville, was issued a summons by Sgt. Travis Ford for operating after suspension.

    James Benner, 31, of South Thomaston, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.
