Rockport Police beat: Arrest warrant, OUI, speeding

    ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity Sept. 7-17. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Aug. 10 (late entry)

    Lindsay Taylor, 26, of Port Clyde, was charged by Sgt. Jim Moore for operating after suspension.

    Sept. 7

    Chelsea Mank, 26, of Hope, was issued a summons by Moore for speeding 44 mph in 30 mph zone.

    David W. Dodson, 69, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Tony Del Vecchio for speeding 39 mph in a 30 mph zone.

    Sept. 10

    Christopher Zak, 24, of Camden, was arrested by Officer Travis Ford on a warrant.

    Sept. 11

    Elizabeth McBride, 56, of Northport, was issued a summons by Ford for insurance violation.

    Sept. 12

    Christopher Michaels, 30, of Portland, was issued a summons by Ford for speeding 43 mph in a 30 mph zone.

    Sept. 13

    Maria Witham, 38, of Warren, was issued a summons by Ford for speeding 54 mph in a 30 mph zone.

    Sept. 14

    Christopher Christian, 19, of Cushing, was issued a summons by Del Vecchio for unregistered motor vehicle.

    Mary Schneider, 60, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Moore for seatbelt violation.

    Sept. 15

    Jody A. Seekins Jr., 29, of Brooks, was issued a summons by Del Vecchio for failure to stop for a red light.

    Brenda Gross, 62, of Randolph, was charged by Moore with exceeding speed by 30 mph or more.

    Sept. 16

    Alyssa Stankis, 33, of Portland, was charged by Moore with operating under the influence, operating after suspension, and reversing direction without adequate vision.

    Sept. 17

    Nicholas Andrei, 33, of Herman, was issued a summons by Ford for failure to stop at a stop sign.
