Rockland library hosts book discussion: “There There” by Tommy Orange

    ROCKLAND — Start off your winter reading, Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 5:30 p.m., with a book discussion brought to you by the Rockland Public Library and the Maine Humanities Council. There There, is an award-winning novel by Tommy Orange that follows a varied cast of contemporary Native Americans, and is the theme for the Humanities Councils Reader’s Retreat 2024.

    This will be a two-part, two book series, with each book discussed fulfilling a winter reading challenge category. Attend this program for an extra draw for the winter challenge prize.

    Facilitated by local poet Carol Bachofner.

    Participation in Reader’s Retreat or Winter Reading is NOT required to attend this program. Registration is also not required, however, free copies of the book are available to the first 15 people to sign up.
