Rock Coast Rollers’ final home bout rapidly approaching

ROCKPORT — The Midcoast is buzzing about the Rock Coast Rollers’ final home bout of the 2014 season on Saturday, Aug. 23 at the Midcoast Recreation Center in Rockport. 

The Rock Coast Rollers’ A-Team, The Perfect Storm, will take on the North Country Lumber Jills from Plattsburgh, N.Y.

The halftime show will include performances by Midcoast Hoop Jammers, drive by todd and the Rock Coast Rollers Jeerleaders.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. and the first whistle will be at 6 p.m.

Tickets available online or at the Good Tern Co-op, Belfast Co-op and Clean Bee Laundry for $8. The event is free for children 12 and under. Tickets will also be available at the door for $10.

A portion of the proceeds will go to support the Knox Lincoln County Beekeepers, which supports honeybees and beekeepers in the Midcoast.
