CAMDEN — Peopleplace, located at 69 Union Street in Camden, will again be hosting the Midcoast Rainbow 5K Run for all ages on Sunday, June 4 at 8:30 a.m.

Participants will run or walk “through all of the colors of the rainbow,” according to a press release. In the un-timed event, runners will be showered with colored powder, made of food-grade corn starch, at stations along the run.

White race day T-shirts will be provided to the first 175 registrants for the event. The event organizers noted that everyone should remember to wear a white t-shirt, and park across the street at Pen Bay YMCA.

Registration is $30 per adult, $10 for age 6 to 14, children age 5 and under free; $70 for a family (two adults, three kids); $25 a person for teams of four or more. To sign up, go to peopleplacecoop.org. All proceeds go to Peopleplace Cooperative Scholarship Fund.
