Pen Bay Medical Center, Waldo County General Hospital issue notice of adjusted hours due to storm

    To keep patients and care team members safe during the approaching winter storm, many Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital practices will delay opening on Thursday, April 4, and others will close for the day.

    Delayed openings include:

    • Primary care practices at both hospitals– Opening at Noon
    • Pen Bay Pediatrics – Opening at Noon.
    • Specialty care practices at both hospitals – Opening at Noon
    • Pen Bay and Waldo Walk-in care – Opening at Noon
    • Lab at Pen Bay – Opening at Noon
    • Pen Bay and Waldo Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy – Opening at Noon
    • Pen Bay Gastroenterology – Opening at 10 a.m.

     

    Practices that will close for the day include:

    • Pen Bay Cancer Care/Infusion Therapy
    • Speech Therapy at Pen Bay and Waldo
    • Audiology at Pen Bay and Waldo
    • Pen Bay Pediatric Physical Therapy
    • Pen Bay Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)
    • Cardiac Rehab at Pen Bay and Waldo
    • Waldo Cardiopulmonary
    • Pen Bay Neurology
    • Pen Bay Podiatry
    • Pen Bay Surgery and Wound
    • Pen Bay Women’s Health
    • Waldoboro Family Medicine
    • Waldo Pulmonology
    • Waldo Physical and Integrative medicine
    • Waldo Pediatrics
    • Arthur Jewell Community Health Center

    These scheduled delays and closings may change depending on the track and severity of the storm, and patients are encouraged to call ahead to confirm their appointments. The hospitals will post any additional closures or delays on their Facebook pages throughout the storm. Patients affected by these schedule changes will be contacted to reschedule.

    As always, the Emergency Departments at both hospitals will remain open. The National Weather Service forecasts that the storm will end Thursday night. The hospitals expect to resume regular hours of operation Friday, April 5.
