Paul Douglas Parks, obituary

Paul Douglas Parks, 73, of Yarmouth, passed away December 24, 2017 after a brief illness. He was born July 28, 1944 in Mars Hill, Maine, and raised in Bridgewater by his grandparents Max and Betty Packard and father and step-mother Evan and Alice Parks. He moved to Yarmouth with his family in 1988.
Paul worked construction for his whole life. He was a hard worker and never backed down from a challenge. He took great pride in working in the yard and from an early age impressed on his children the importance of physical labor. Always one for a good time, he was known for his pranks, endless supply of popsicles and his love of Christmas. 
He was a member of the Casco Masonic Lodge, Aroostook Masonic Lodge, Anah Shiners, Grand Royal Arch Chapters and Commandry of Knights Templar.
Paul is survived by his wife of 45 years, Connie Amnott Parks; son Shawn Parks, daughter-in-law Amanda and granddaughter Eliza of Hermon; daughter Kristen Smith, son-in-law Tyler and grandchildren Sam and Hannah of Camden; siblings Max (Sally) Parks, Margaret (Stuart) Welch, Mark Parks, Marsha (Frank) Kearney, Marie (Bryan) Bell, Michael (Yolanda) Parks and Milan (Sheryl) Parks; Mother-in-law Elaine Amnott and numerous other family and friends.

A public Masonic Service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at the Casco Masonic Lodge, 20 Mill St. Yarmouth, with visiting hours to follow.
