New home for women in recovery

Sat, 04/14/2018 - 9:45pm

Penobscot Bay Ministries is opening a home for women in Rockland.  Founded in 2004 by the late Pastor John Durgen, PBM has been providing support of various kinds to women transitioning out of substance abuse and incarceration.

After years of praying and planning, PBM will finally be able to provide residential recovery support for these women to help them become life giving members of the community.

This project is funded entirely by the generous support of the community.  PBM is accepting donations of all kinds for this project and donations are tax deductible.  If you are interested in partnering or for more information, contact Amanda Gardner at amanda.gardner@maine.edu
