Morrill man arrested on domestic assault charges

    MORRILL — A Morrill man was arrested April 15, following a report of domestic violence. 

    Brett Armstrong, 30, was arrested after deputies responded to the residence to investigate the report. 

    Once on scene law enforcement spoke with the residents of the home, learning that a verbal altercation had reportedly turned physical. 

    The victim stated that Armstrong had struck her during the course of the argument.

    Armstrong was ultimately arrested for domestic violence assault and transported to Waldo County Correctional Center. He was later released on $500 cash bail.
