Thu, 07/13/2017 - 11:15am

Michael Herman Reynolds, 41, of Belfast passed away on July 9, 2017. Michael was born to Charlene Murphy and the late Herman Reynolds.

Michael was a very passionate man. The things he loved, he loved intensely. He enjoyed spending time with Devin and Levi, fishing, playing games and watching televised sports. Mike was Dale Earnhardt Sr's No. 1 fan and win or lose, the NFL's Carolina Panther's biggest fan, rivaled only for that title by his son, Devindale.

Michael typically owned some caliber of Camaro, and loved to drag race. As a youth, he played pee-wee football for "The Chiefs," earned a state wrestling championship with his Crosby Jr. High School team and went on to play high school football for a time. Michael was a dog lover and rescued and adopted them whenever he could. He took great pride and joy in volunteer coaching for Devindale's T-ball, farm team and Jr high school football teams.

He will be greatly missed by his "Ma" Charlene; his sons Devindale Reynolds and Levi Farrell; his former wife Jessica Eggen; Levi's mother Shawna Farrell; his brothers, Edward Murphy and Adam Reynolds; his sisters Arianne Clark and Kristin Partridge along with their spouses and children and his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to Charlene Rytky to help with expenses. A celebration of Mike's life will be held at noon on Saturday, July 15, at the Belfast Shrine Club, 20 Northport Ave., Belfast Maine 04915. Arrangements have been entrusted to Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast ME 04915. Online condolences may be sent to www.ripostafh.com.
