The Midcoast sports scene was busy with several busline middle school basketball games Friday, Jan. 12.

7th Grade Boys Basketball: Troy Howard 56, Oceanside 49
Belfast took a 10-6 first quarter advantage before Oceanside took a 27-22 lead into the halftime break. Oceanside held a third quarter advantage of 41-39.
“An excellent basketball game played by both teams,” said Belfast coach Matt McConnell.
