The Midcoast sports scene was busy with several sporting events on Friday, May 5.

1st Doubles: Julia Holt/Clair Pierce (CH) over Sophie Weston/MacKenzie Stfierre 5-7, 6-3, 6-3
2nd Doubles: Kelsie Merrill/Chloe Fordyce (CH) over Nora Greene/Hanna Bouchard 6-2, 6-2

8th Grade Baseball: Medomak 15, Camden-Rockport 2 (May 4) 

Ethan Reed pitched five innings for Medomak and only allowed one earned run. 

At the plate for Medomak: Aide Starr (single), Reed (two singles, double), Colvin Standring (two singles, double), Anthony York (single), Parker Morrison (single), Noah Crosby (two singles) and Winpenny (two doubles). 

Middle School Softball: Medomak 25, Camden-Rockport 14 (May 4) 

Medomak scored six runs in each the third and fifth innings, two in the fourth, four in the sixth and seven in the seventh. Camden-Rockport chalked up four in the first, one in the second, seven in the fifth and two in the sixth.
