The Midcoast sports scene was busy with several sporting events on Wednesday, May 24.

Varsity Baseball: Medomak Valley 5, Oceanside 2

Medomak Valley (6-8) plated two runs in the fifth and three runs in the sixth inning. Oceanside plated its lone two runs in the sixth inning. 

On the mound for Oceanside: Logan Sheridan (six innings, five runs, five earned runs, 10 hits, five strikeouts, two walks). 

On the mound for Medomak Valley: Ryan Creamer (five innings, two hits, one strikeout, three walks) and Brent Stewart (two innings, two runs, one earned run, three hits, one strikeout). 

At the plate for Medomak Valley: Adam Eutsler (two singles) and Jordan Powell (single, double, two runs, two RBIs).
