KNOX — Margo E. Kenney, 63, died April 16, 2017, at her home in Knox after a long illness. She was born in Dickinson, N.D. on Oct. 14, 1953, to Rosemary and Kenneth Bayer.

She is survived by her loving husband, Craig Kenney; her daughter, Sheila Perez; her sister, Denise Saylors; and her niece, Cary Williams. She was predeceased by her sister, Lynell Williams; and her parents.

Margo lived in Sacramento, Calif., for most of her life. She graduated from Norte Del Rio High School and Heald's Business College. She worked for years at Sacramento State University and California Office of Technology Services before retiring in Maine.

Margo was an avid runner and enjoyed playing softball with the gang. She loved all animals, especially her horses and her precious red chow, Mai Tai. Margo will be dearly remembered for her fun-loving personality, great smile, generosity and tenacity. She was an exceptional person who had many friends.
