AUGUSTA — The Maine Senate recognized the Small Business Administration's Small Business Person of the Year for the State of Maine. Heidi Neal, of Rockland, who is the owner of the Loyal Biscuit Company pet store, is this year's recipient.

The Loyal Biscuit has locations in Rockland, Belfast, Camden, and Waterville. Neal and her team have successfully grown Loyal Biscuit to a destination for pet lovers with supplies for dogs and cats.

All four locations feature self-serve dog washes. Neal was presented with a special legislative sentiment which was sponsored by Maine Senate President Michael Thibodeau (R-Waldo).
