ST. GEORGE – Laura L. White, 37, died unexpectedly, Sept. 25, 2016, in the arms of her beloved husband, at the home they shared with their children.

Born in Nashua, N.H., on June 9, 1979, she was the daughter of Ronald and Ellen Weeks Gendron. Laura grew up locally, and earned her high school diploma from Camden High School. She also furthered her education, studying at the University of Maine, Augusta.

For the last five years Laura has been employed as an administrator at 63 Washington Street, an assisted living home in Camden. There she made many great friends and was loved by all the residents. Her husband remembered she overcame many hurdles in her life, and became a successful leader in the health care field. Laura always went above and beyond to make others happy.

Laura was an active person who enjoyed being outdoors. Long bike rides were one her favorite pastimes. She was easy to talk to, and could start a conversation with anyone.

Her children were her life and she loved them more than anything else. She was always proud of their accomplishments, and took great joy in attending their events. She was loving and caring with a beautiful spirit. She loved to laugh and always had a joke ready. Her smile could light up any room. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.

Laura is survived by her husband, Cecil R. White Jr.; her children, Cody Heal and his companion, Emily Pease, of Camden, Hannah Hunt White of Hope, Ronald “Billy” Heal of Camden, James Heal, Thomas E. White, and Cecil R. White III, all of St. George; her parents, Ronald and Ellen Gendron of Barstow, Fla.; her siblings, Ron Pinciaro and his wife, Paula, of Concord, N.H., Shawn M. A gathering of love and remembrance will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the home of Beth Ames, 38 Thompson Meadow Road in Rockland.
