WALDOBORO — Winter is fast approaching and beekeepers will soon be making the final preparations to physically overwinter their colonies, according to Knox Lincoln County Beekeepers, in a news release.

The Beekeepers will be hosting a winterization workshop with a presentation and hands-on demonstrations on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Knox-Lincoln Extension Office, 377 Manktown Road, in Waldoboro.

This event is free and open to all beekeepers in the area.
