Knox Criminal Docket closed cases

    ROCKLAND- The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Docket from May 11-18. The unified Criminal Docket is a new system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.

    Timothy Backiel, 52, of Appleton, operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $750 fine.

    Richard Breau, 37, of Dedham, Mass., operating vehicle without license, $150 fine.

    Brandon Cox, 20, of Spruce Head, attaching false plates, $150 fine.

    Ian Cushing, 21, of Camden, use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.

    Devin Davis, 28, of Friendship, violation of whelks harvesting rule, Chapter 13.

    Kathryn Does, 58, of Rockport, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $175 fine.

    Philip Albert Libby III, 28, of Waldoboro, violation of whelks harvesting rule, Chapter 13, $150 fine.

    Trueman Moore, 19, of Camden, possession of marijuana, $350 fine.

    Performance Paving Inc., rule violation, compliance review, $3,210 fine.

    Kristen Philbrook, 19, of Cushing, failure to register vehicle, $150 fine.

    Jacob Pike, 24, of Weeks Mills, two counts of violation of whelks harvesting rule, Chapter 13, $400 fine.

    Nathaniel Quinn, 39, of Thomaston, failure to register vehicle, $150 fine.

    Jevonne Riley, 22, of Washington, operating vehicle without a license, dismissed.

    Joshua Simmons, 31, of Thomaston, displaying fictitious vehicle certificate.

    Richard Towle, 27, of Rockport, carrying a loaded firearm or crossbow in vehicle, $250 fine.
