Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases

    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from Feb. 5-9.

    Michael A. Eaton, 38, of Stonington, violation of scallop rule, Chapter 11, $500 fine.

    Allen Fogg, 29, of Jefferson, probation violation for original conviction of eluding an officer, nine months in jail, probation partially revoked; domestic violence assault, nine months in jail, criminal mischief, nine months in jail.

    According to the affidavit filed in Knox County Unified Court by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, the victim told police that Fogg broke furniture in her home in Warren including chairs and tables and also punched holes in her walls. The woman said that she tried to get Fogg to stop, but he kept hitting her in the face, which resulted in a black eye.

    The assault occurred Nov. 24, 2017 and police obtained an arrest warrant two weeks later after the victim reported the incident. Fogg was arrested Feb. 2 and charged with violating his probation and the two new charges of domestic violence assault and criminal mischief. He pleaded guilty to the new charges before Judge Susan Sparaco.

    James J. Kinnealey, 65, of Hope, failure to register vehicle, $100 fine.

    Jason M. Potter, 36, of Oswego, N.Y., aggravated assault, dismissed; assault, $300 fine, 30 days in jail.

    Paula J. Schomaker, 44, of Cushing, operating under the influence (alcohol), one prior, dismissed; operating under the influence (alcohol), $700 fine, 72 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.
