Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases

    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from Dec. 26-30.

    Jarrod C. Bergeron, 33, of Rockland, possessing sexually explicit material of minor under 12, five years in jail with all but five months suspended, probation two years.

    Ashley E. McNeilly, 22, of Owls Head, driving to endanger, $575 fine, license suspended for 30 days.

    Douglas R. Merrifield, 34, of Owls Head, aggravated assault, seven years in prison with all but 33 months suspended, four months probation; endangering the welfare of a child, six months in jail.

    Ryan J. Newbert, 20, of South Thomaston, violating condition of release, 90 days in jail; two counts of furnishing liquor to a minor, 54 months in prison with all but 16 months suspended, probation two years, community service 100 hours; two counts of aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs, 54 months in prison with all but 16 months suspended, probation two years, community service 100 hours.

    Brandon R. Staples, 26, of Rockland, criminal mischief, 364 days in jail with all but seven days suspended, probation one year.
