Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases

    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Nov. 2-6. The Unified Criminal Court is a new system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.

    Gregory Aldus, 50, of Rockland, operating under the influence, $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    Matthew T. Arflin, 31, of Rockland, operating under the influence, $500 fine, 48 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days; motor vehicle speeding, 30 mph over speed limit, 48 hours in jail.

    Derek M. Bragg, 27, of Rockland, violating condition of release, seven days in jail.

    Richard Butler, 36, of Rockland, violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.

    Karen Hadley, 58, of Owls Head, passing stopped school bus, dismissed.

    Dwayne L. Knowlton, 44, of Thomaston, assault, $750 fine, restitution $3,177.44

    Anthony Langille, 47, of Waldoboro, violating condition of release, 30 day in jail.

    Michael K. Martin, 46, of Union, operating under the influence, $500 fine, 72 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.

    Arlen Riggs, 19, of Hope, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, dismissed; violating condition of release, 14 days in jail.

    Tracey A. Sturks, 45, of Spuce Head, criminal threatening, 120 days in jail; assault, $300 fine, 364 days in jail with all but 120 days suspended, administrative release, one year.

    Kathleen Zable, 21, of South Thomaston, violating condition of release, 10 days in jail.
